Knowcraft Analytics, an ISO 27001-certified organization, is an offshore service provider to valuation, advisory, accounting, and tax firms in the United States. Under our Finance and Account (F&A) vertical, we are looking for a dynamic leader to help us build Financial Due Diligence Services [FDD] to the next level. The individual is required to work with entrepreneurial skills and would be required to work the extra mile and would be rewarded for the same.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The individual selected would Lead the Financial Due Diligence engagements at Knowcraft Analytics;
- The individual would be responsible for the management of the profit center. Additionally,
responsibilities include; delivering and building the team of this vertical; - Business development role:
- Provide guidance and support to the internal marketing team;
- developing ideas-based sourcing;
- involved in client pitching; and
- building strategies related to pricing & meeting leads virtually or in person.
- Delivery side role:
- Managing the current team;
- identifying the process issues and improving the current processes;
- identifying any specific requirements;
- thorough knowledge of leading financial due diligence engagements for US-based firms;
- analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold by reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management;
- identifying negotiation factors for the purchase price and deal structuring;
- constantly researching industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements, to provide client knowledge and insight; and
- documenting the methodology and delivering according to the client’s requirements.
- Formulating a growth strategy for the team, improving product quality, and increasing the team’s efficiency levels.
- Evaluating and providing results and evaluation reports monthly to the Management and HOD; and
- Involved extensively in hiring, mentoring, training, and assessing the FDD team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- MBA (Premier B-School) or MS (Finance)
- Certifications including CPA (AICPA), CMA (IMA), CFA (CFA Institute, US), CA (ICAI) or any investment banking certification would be preferred
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum ten years of work experience;
- Handling a team of a minimum of 5 individuals in the current firm;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
- Experience working with global clients [USA and Canada, to be specific] is a must.
Knowcraft is seeking an Assistant Manager – TAS/M&A Financial Due Diligence. The Assistant Manager will participate in the rapid expansion of our US TAS/M&A Financial Due Diligence practice. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career and be part of a growth story in a dynamic and growing firm’s new practice department. The candidate is expected to demonstrate high-quality work while being an effective and productive individual. The candidate is expected to lead a team of individuals. Knowcraft would act as an extended team to its clients based out of the U.S.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize data gathered from financial reports into Excel workbook analyses that provide valuable guidance to the U.S. based engagement team on specific reviews of company financials
- Prepare and update document request lists and management meeting agendas
- Participate in calls scheduled with the Client in the U.S. and, if required, participate in management meetings with the Target Company
- Assist in preparing Quality of Earnings adjustments, Net Working Capital analyses, identifying Debt-like Items, key points of Interest for consideration in the Report, etc
- Review and tie out final client reports to ensure the data accuracy of reported numbers
- Remotely work and coordinate with U.S.-based clients daily, including calls outside working hours
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; and
- CPA or C.A. certification obtained or in process
Eligibility Criteria:
- 3-5 years of experience in the field of finance or accounting, preferably in US TAS
- Exposure and basic understanding of US GAAP accounting rules
- Strong desire to continuously learn
- Advanced skills of excel, word, and PowerPoint
- Proven experience of managing a small team and carrying out an independent review of tasks performed by the team; and
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and presentation skills
